MPA and partners take action for the planet and the environment

With marine pollution affecting most of the Accra shoreline, a clean up exercise was held to mitigate this at the Borla beach in Accra
The exercise was done on Saturday, 16th November 2019 by Millenium Promise Alliance together with Reset Global People and its partners.
Borla beach is situated right behind the iconic Independence Square of Ghana.
Marine pollution, especially with plastics, has been seen as a major threat to our oceans. According to the Environmental Protection Agency of Ghana, there would be more rubbish than fishes in the sea by 2050 if action is not taken.

Millennium Promise Alliance is therefore delighted to share in efforts to keep the beach clean and save marine life in the country. This goes a long way in attaining SDG goal 14 which encourages actions that promote the welfare of life below water.
